RYC 란?
RYC는 Reborn Young Christ의 약자입니다. 2004년에 고 백운택 어거스틴 신부님에 의해 시작된 청년들의 신앙운동입니다. 고 백신부님은 생전 청년들을 위해 삶을 봉헌하셨고 신부님의 리더쉽과 열정에 의해 수많은 피정이 이루어졌습니다.
50회가 넘는 피정이 열렸으며, 2,500명 이상의 한국 가톨릭 고등학생들이 신앙의 재발견을 경험하고 동료 공동체 신자들을 만났습니다.
RYC는 청소년들에게 재미있고 활동적인 피정에 참석할 수 있는 기회를 제공했으며, 그들의 신앙이 성장하고 일상 생활에서 실천하도록 도왔습니다.
피정의 테마는:
“그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라! 새것이 되었도다” - 2 Corinthians 5:17

현실속에서 청년들이 이번 피정을
통해 다시 편안하게 성당으로 돌아올수 있는기회를 드리고자 RYC에
초대합니다.
말씀대로 우리는 포스트 팬데믹
세상에서 우리의 믿음의 재발견을
중심으로 한 일련의 대화와 활동,
토론을 통해 다시 새로워지는 것을
목표로 할 것입니다.

대한 열정에 의해 RYC 를
위해 모인, NY/NJ의 한인
가톨릭 신자 그룹입니다.
각자 본당에서 주일학교 교사,
제단 봉사자, 학교 교사, 학부모 등으로서 봉사하고 있으며 우리 그룹은 전직 RYC 카운셀러, 전 참가자와 아래의 성당 신자들로 구성 되어 있습니다:
